Infant Program

Overview

The infant program offers a calm, nurturing, and thoughtfully prepared environment designed to support your baby’s natural development. Inspired by the principles of Maria Montessori, I focus on fostering independence, respect, and a love of learning from the very beginning. In our home daycare setting, infants are cared for in a peaceful, home-like atmosphere where they feel safe, valued, and secure. Each child is treated as an individual, with close observation and response to their unique needs, rhythms, and interests.

Program Timing

Our home childcare program operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This schedule is designed to support families with consistent, reliable care while providing children with a balanced daily routine that includes time for learning, play, meals, rest, and outdoor experiences.

Meal Plan

My infant meal program is designed to support healthy growth, independence, and a positive relationship with food. Each child’s individual feeding schedule is considered and home cooked meals are provided. I work closely with families to ensure consistency between home and daycare

3 - 18 Months

  • The space is carefully arranged with low shelves, soft mats, and developmentally appropriate materials that encourage exploration, movement, and discovery.

  • Infants are given the opportunity to move freely in a safe space, supporting natural motor development without the overuse of restrictive equipment.

  • Natural materials, simple toys, and real-life objects stimulate the senses and encourage curiosity about the world.

  • I’ll speak to infants clearly and respectfully, narrating actions and engaging in meaningful interactions to support early communication skills.

  • Predictable daily rhythms help infants feel secure while allowing flexibility to follow each child’s individual schedule.

  • When possible, infants are introduced to fresh air, natural light, and outdoor experiences in a safe and gentle manner
